I have experienced close-family friend losses because of cancer of sorts. And each time ain't easy. Just the other night, we were told that one of my good friends has thyroid cancer. That kind of news is enough to make me down. We can only pray for her especially that she will undergo a surgery this week.
While browsing the net, I came across this somewhat new type of cancer, mesothelioma. It is a type of cancer that may occur after extreme exposure to asbestos. I never knew something like that exists! When I would only worry about breast and cervical cancer, there are a whole lot of other types that can actually affect me or my family.
I'm getting paranoid once again. But I'm liking reading stuff. Prevention is the key, right? :)
