Hanging

Wednesday, May 28, 2008

Have you ever felt like that?

Like hanging on a cliff?

It seems like nature is playing a practical joke on me, in a good way I hope. The Sun, Moon and Stars seem to be conspiring to keep a secret. Not even giving a single clue.

If I can just run and make time go faster. I can't even just sleep it off.

Sweet time, come. Only you can reveal the mystery.

~~~~~~~~~
On a lighter note:
Ane has been sleeping on the same side of the bed for nearly two years now. And now, he's trying to covet MY side. Yeah, too heavy an accusation but I'm trying to scare him off with a Commandment, LOL! Hun, I'm not giving up my side even if you've made yourself comfy already. Hmp!
Warning: A long post :)
Day 1 - May 17, 2008 Feast of Saint Pascual Baylon
Arrived in Obando, together with my MIL around 630am and we were being re-routed (early!). We got to my parents' and they didn't have breakfast, 'coz they were busy preparing for lunch, LOL! Around 7am, the three of us decided to walk to the church so we can grab a bite before the mass. We found some puto :) It was a rainy morning we were worried we'd get soaked at the procession. Typhoon Cosme was in our midst. We brought along some clothes, just in case. But you know what, the sun showed itself just before 8am. God is good. It was still raining, but only a little.
By 730, we decided to enter the church even if the 7am mass wasn't over yet. Just to make sure we'd get seated for the High Mass. My Mom joined us just before it started. Bishop Almario headed the concelebrated mass, he was the Bishop of my childhood. Mons Bart (family friend and the one who married us) and Fr. Sonny (childhood friend) were also there. The church was overflowing! We were seated near the front but when we took our communion, we couldn't get back to our pew anymore! We had to go outside and enter again using the side entrance for the blessing.
The procession immediately followed but we dropped by the Parish House where I saw my two priest friends :)
with Fr. Sonny
with Mons. Bart
We were invited to have breakfast but we declined since the procession would have started. We went to the front to wait for other Rotarians. While waiting, we entertained ourselves by posing for the cam hehe.
that's the BBC Crew behind me :)
Usually the route every Day1 is the longest, towards the northern part of the town. I was ready for that. Dad joined us too. It rained a bit but that didn't dampen the festive air of the procession. On the way to the church, my mom, MIL and the rest of the Rotarians decided to stop at the garden so Ane and I were the only ones left to finish at the church. Without the "oldies", we got to walk faster hehe. We went ahead so we can go and dance some more at the front.
inside the church, day1. uber crowded. :)
See that baby with the headband in the middle of the crowd? Her parents probably were blessed with her and they went back to give thanks. This is a common sight during the fiesta. The picture was also taken just before the 20-30min dancing in the church started. Day 1 was also the day GMA (Pinoy Records) filmed the Fiesta and was shown just this Saturday. Hubby was seen, sayang we were not able to record it hehe. We were also captured on film by the BBC crew, but I'm quite sure it's all our stuffy faces and probably will be edited out LOL! The camera was like 12inches from our faces, hehe. We also got to touch the relic of St. Pascual :) There's a youtube video, search for "sayaw sa Obando" if you have the time so you can imagine how wild and fun the crowd was :)
We had lunch at the garden and left around 2pm. We planned to play badminton that afternoon but my body was too tired to move! So Ane left me at home and I was asleep from 3pm to 6pm. And then the electricity went out at 7pm and Cosme was again furious, hard wind was banging the walls! It was scary I tell yah. I was practically begging Ane to come home right away. The lights came back around eleven, and it was a peaceful evening since then :)
Day2 - May18, 2008 Feast of Saint Claire of Assisi.
Sunny sunny day, but it wasn't hot. St. Claire never disappoints with good weather :) My brothers were home. The older one attended the 6am mass with his SO and her Lola. LBB went with us. Mommy was the 8am Mass Commentator so we were assured seats behind her at the choir area. But just the same, we went early to beat the crowd. Mom was invited by the Parish Priest for breakfast and while she sat there, Bayani Fernando and the Town Mayor arrived. Mom called us from the sacristy so we may be introduced to the "celebrity". We made "mano" and BF & the Mayor were a bit apprehensive, LOL!
Why did I wear pink of all days, huh? I looked like a BF fan! The meeting did not last long as the 8am mass was about to start. We positioned ourselves with the choir but when two elderly nuns came and looked at LBB and Ane with puppy eyes, they gave up their seats, LOL! Dad also attended the said mass but stayed with our Ninong Gov. The High Mass was headed by the current (and controversial) Malolos Bishop, Bishop Oliveros.
Mom and LBB did not join the procession and decided to stay behind in the church. My other brother joined them later. Ane and I decided to join Dad and his group instead. But we missed them! The crowd was five-fold (or more) compared to the day before, one cannot even walk willingly...everybody is pushing! To get to Dad, we had to brave the crowds. When I was stuck in the middle of the fighting crowd and I lost Ane, I held on to my bag. I felt myself kinda hyperventilating I wanted to cry, calling out for Hubby. I have issues with crowds, you know. I stopped panicking when people moved and I was reunited with my Hubs (nux, drama). We finally saw Dad and his group was with BF. The procession started late because the images were stuck inside the parish compound, again, lotsa people. And the fact that BF was there, near the front of the procession, the movement was slow, really slow. Why? Because BF has got political ambitions, he had to stop every now and then to dance with the oldies at the sidelines and for photo ops too!!!
You know it would have been okay for me if he was there, everybody is free to join the festival. But why bring a bus-full of crew and paraphernalia with you? Not to mention the security detail. It was the whole shebang! He even gave away fans with his picture plastered on it and brought banners much like the ones seen on EDSA. Ok enough ranting hehehe.
As I said, a lot came to join the procession. It had to take the longest route (southward) just so the start and end won't meet at the church. It was long that it took nearly four hours to finish! Along the way, when I realized that we weren't even halfway yet, I felt my knees wobbling, eyes blacking out and almost lost it. We told Dad I cannot finish it anymore so we started the walk back to the church. And watched the rest of the procession along the way.
Dance with me! :) Members of the DMI, the same group Beth Tamayo and Husband asked to dance for them.
Yeah, I still had the energy to goof around. But I danced! Every dance step, they say, is a prayer. We found Mom and brothers patiently waiting at the Parish House where we were able to grab breakfast, errrrr lunch.
look-alike? who's your mommy now?
It took another hour or so before the procession came back. All masses already ended and we waited near the altar. After the dancing, we were lucky to have the Relic of St. Claire be placed briefly on my tummy and prayed over by the priest. Believing is the key.
That night, we went back to the church for the 6pm mass because I was asked to crown Our lady of the Flowers during the Flores de Mayo Novena. I bought a dress intended for this event and I wore heels. Needless to say, these feet aren't made for heels. I had blisters, ugh!
Day3 - May19, 2008 Feast of Nuestra SeƱora dela Immaculada Conception de Salambao
Ane had to go back to work so I asked my cousin Ana to accompany me. Unlike the other days, it was a hot day. I think I burned myself a bit. There were less people, too, and it was less eventful. The mass was headed by Bishop San Diego of Pasig, a native of Obando. The procession was also a quick one, we were done by 1130am. I have no pictures of myself since I was the one behind the camera hehe. And yeah, the pictures I posted above are Ane's shots, posted with permission of course hehehe. I created a slideshow of my shots from the third day :) Enjoy!
I feel like it's been forever since I last posted, I cannot even justify why I was gone so long. Last night, I planned on catching up but when we got home from Trinoma (where I met some friends, that's another story, ugh), I was having allergic rhinitis attacks until this morning. So after buying food supply for the boys' apartment, I just bummed today.
We just finished dinner (yummy porkchops!) and I am sneaking in a few minutes before I do the dishes. Then I need to fold the laundered clothes and probably tidy up a bit (how I wish we have one of 'em Miele vacuums to make things a bit easier). I am allowed to stay up late tonight 'coz tomorrow's Hubby's restday but I just have to make sure I wake up early tomorrow so I can prepare lunch, hehe. I have plans of scrapping and continue on laying out our album and finish that entry about the fiesta and...wait I'm blabbing and wasting time LOL!
'Til later! :)
I'm back...
I actually did not "leave" cyberworld but I was just a bit inactive. It's been a tiring 2 weeks but I am not complaining, that's part of our sacrifice, ain't it? It's just that I am having a hard time again getting back on track every time I get preoccupied with something else. I am drained and I feel the need to energize. How? I dunno.
To fight boredom, I decided to look at travel guides. Not that we have plans to go anywhere anytime soon but I just wanna keep my options open "just in case". Hehe. An airline is having it's usual plane seats sale, it's kinda hard to ignore. But then we still don't know what the immediate future has in store for us so planning takes a backseat ;)
I'll come back with the fiesta stories and pictures, lemme just organize my thoughts. Ciao for now!
ps. Did you notice how this blog is already PR3? I noticed it about last week but forgot to "document" it. Yay! Thank you guys for making that happen. I guess I'll have to be more active in blogging (read: opps seeking) from now on...
Preparing for the weekend
Friday, May 16, 2008
It's gonna be a long weekend. Yup Fiesta time is here :) On those three days, my day will start at 530am because we'd need to leave the house by six, else we won't be able to pass through the town proper. They close the roads to vehicles by seven am. We will be attending the 8am high masses because I had us included in the petitions. And then the procession (and dancing on the roads) starts immediately afterwards. Through previous experiences, the procession lasts until around 11am and the closing prayer (and more dancing!) in the church until around noon. So we will have to endure the heat because of the sun and the crowd that is expected to join the festivities (well, everybody's praying that we will be given a fair weather at least). We definitely need sunblock and hats for this (and I guess a pair of shades too, prolly a pair of vintage sunglasses?)
Tonight's the last day of the novena. All is well :)
Times are hard...
Gasoline prices reached the P50/liter mark. Rice prices are up too. The Peso is struggling against the dollar (not complaining though :D). These are signs that our economy is suffering. It's funny that a friend visited this blog for a few seconds just to apologize for not visiting more often. The reason? She's looking for 'rakets' to help with their family expenses. Funny because we always thought they're okay all the while but sad as well knowing that if their family income seems not enough, then a lot more people are complaining. For the past few days, Hubby and I are scrimping on our expenses because we need to stretch, stretch, stretch. Even his mid-year bonus has been allocated for expenses -- part of his dad's car insurance (since we use the truck a lot), pay-off the credit card bill for the unexpected purchases, clothes (because we need new ones, really) and the rest for savings. We are even contemplating that I go and find "real" work.
Oh well. I need to knock into my head that we are still lucky that eating three times a day (and more) isn't a problem...
Stay away, in the name of...
Sunday, May 11, 2008
Yesterday, I got kinda upset because we went to the church early yet we were still late. How did that happen? The mass every Saturday starts at 5pm (an hour earlier than what we were told), so the novena and rosary started at 430pm. Anyway, we just joined the remainder of the mass and prayed the novena before we left the church. When we arrived home, we prayed the rosary. So what's with the entry title?
At the beginning of the first mystery, I heard Ane seemed to be just blurbing his "Holy Mary's" (I was leading). I couldn't undertand what he was saying! Then I started to giggle, no matter how hard I tried to suppress it. Ane started laughing too. We couldn't continue because we were laughing so hard I was actually in tears. Our concentration was broken. Bad I know. It went on for about three minutes. We tried to get back to praying but it was hard. Then I remembered to do something, I raised my hand (as if stopping someone)...and I said loudly and firmly...
"In the name of Jesus, stay away from us Satan. I am ordering you Satan to stay away and let us finish our prayers, in the name of Jesus!!!"
And that worked, 'coz I thought it seemed like the devil was tickling us, stopping us from saying the rosary. Those are powerful words, a prayer that I learned in highschool. Never really uttered 'em words until last night. So I never realized the power of saying it until I said it. It was a lesson (re) learned...that with the help of Jesus, all evils may be defeated, anytime and anywhere.
One day, if you find yourself in a middle of something you didn't choose to be in, then maybe you can utter the words and see what happens :) A blessed weekend everyone!
Happy Mothers' day!!!!!!!
Happy Mothers' day to My Mom, My Mom-in-law, My sister, Mommy Ellen, all my Mommy friends and web buddies :) I guess you're all out having yourselves pampered, eh? Today's your day and if in case there's nothing going on, why not say grab your Briggs and Riley luggage and go somewhere nice :) Like my mom who's currently in Cebu, LOL! You ladies deserve the break!!!
As for me, I'm at "work". An event just ended and it went well. The client was expecting around 70 or so guests but only half came. Well, at least the staff isn't that tired. Hubby is arriving anytime soon...with my McDo Cheeseburger!! Yay! Haven't eaten lunch yet (although I ate some light snacks) and I'm waiting for him! Been craving Cheeseburger since yesterday! I just need to post one more entry and I'm outta here :)
ps. I have a layout overload in my other blog, teehee. I lurve templates!!!
If you are an Ass : A very loyal and sweet person. Your loyalty can never be doubted. You are quite honest and sincere when it comes to your attitude towards working. You are a very simple person, indeed. Absolutely hassle free, humble, and down-to-earth!! That explains the reason why your friends cling on to you! You have a good taste for clothes. If your wardrobe is not updated with what is trendy, you sure are depressed. Popular and easy-going. You have a little gr! oup of dignified friends, all of them being quality-personified.
If you are a Slug : Always up to some sort of a mischief! The mischievous gleam in your eyes is what mak e s you so cute and attractive to everyone. You are an extremely fun-to-be-with kind of person. No wonder people seek your company and look forward to include you for all get-together’s. However, you are sensitive which is a drawback. People need to select their words while talking to you. If someone tries to fiddle around and play with words while dealing with you, it is enough to invite your wrath. God bless the person then!
If you are a Cockroach : Quite contradictory to your name, you are a peace loving person. You best try to avoid a situation wherein you are required to fight. An outdoor person, you dislike sitting at one place for a long duration. You are a born leader, and have it in you how to tactfull! y deriv e work from people. You love being loved and when you receive your share of limelight from s omeone, you are all theirs!!!! Well, well… Hence some people could even take an advantage, flatter you to the maximum and get their work done. So be careful…..
If you are a Parasite : An extremely lovable, adorable person, sometimes shy, with a passion for quick wit. At times, you prefer quietness. You love exploring various things and going into depth of each thing. Under normal circumstances you’re cool but when given a reason to, you are like a volcano waiting to erupt. You’re a fashion bird. People look forward to you as an icon associated with fashion. Basically, you mingle along freely but don’t like talking much to strangers. People feel very easy in your company. You observe care in choosing your friends.
If you are a Skunk : You are near to perfect and nice at heart! . The e xamples of your kindness are always circulated in groups of people. You, too, love peace. You wouldn’t like to retaliate even to a person who is in the wrong. You are loved due to this. You do not wish to talk behind one’s back. People love the way you always treat them. You can give, give, and give love, and the best part is that you do not expect it back in return. You are generous enough. Seeing things in a practical light is what remains the best trait of you guys.
If you are a Bullfrog : You symbolize a very happy-go-lucky approach in life. Whatever the surroundings may be, grim or cheerful, you remain unaffected. In fact, you spread cheer wherever you go. You are the leader of your group of fri ends! and go od at consoling pe ople in their times of need. You dislike hypocrisy and tend to shirk away from hypocrites. They can never be in your good books, no matter what. You are very methodical and organized in your work. No amount of mess, hence, can ever encompass you. Beware, it is easy for you to fall in love….
If you are a Snake : You are mysterious. You are someone who can handle pressure with ease, and can handle any atmosphere without going berserk. You can be mean at times, and love to gossip with your selected group. Very prim and proper. You like all situations and things to be in the w! ay you desire, which, sometimes is not possible. As a result, you may lose out in some relationships. But otherwise, you love to help people out from difficult and tight spots when they really need you.
If you are an Ape : Very impatient and hyper!!! You want things to be done as quick as possible. At heart, you are quite simple and love if you are the center of attraction. That way, you people are unique. You would like to keep yourself safe from all the angles. Shall your name be dragged or featured in any sort of a controversy, you then go all panicky. Therefore, you take your precautions from the very beginning. When you foresee anything wrong, your sixth sense is what saves you from falling in traps. Quite a money minded bunch you people are.
Amazing!
I've been awake since 510am!!! I'm trying to stay up (although I think I'm getting a headache, LOL!). This is something new. I slept just before midnight last night and woke up to tag along with hubby on his way to work (by the way Meg, got the picture you are requesting mwehehe). I usually stay in bed until it's time for lunch since I turn in really late too -- it doesn't matter that our bed is facing the east and that our window blinds are opaque that the sun shines directly at me. I tell you, I can sleep under those circumstances! So again, this is something new and I'm not sure how long I can hold myself up, LOL! Brother and I are going to Metrowalk after lunch today and we'll see if I can still at least able to walk. Hehe. Laterz!
Prayer Warriors unite! :)
Wednesday, May 07, 2008
Our town (where I spent my young years) is celebrating its fiesta from May 17 - 19 in honor of our three patrons -- Saint Pascual, Saint Claire and Our Lady of Salambao. Our town is Obando, Bulacan and is known for its Fertility Festival. I've been joining the festivities since I was in High School. I missed last year's though, the first after I got married, because we were away. I have friends who were born after their parents danced while they prayed in our town. So I know, miracles do happen and these patrons intercede for wishes.
This year, hubby and I would like to put more meaning to the festivities by joining the 9-day Novena Masses which will start tomorrow, May 8 every 6pm. It's an open secret that we've been trying to have a child. We've seen doctors and were told that compared to others having problems, our case is just simple and that our problem is minimal. We are offering a sacrifice by attending all masses and joining the novena. Someone nice actually donated to the church so we will be included in the novena for nine days.
I'm now asking my friends and dear readers: if it's not too much, utter a short prayer for us for nine days anytime between 6pm and 630pm from May 8 to 16. Let's unite in prayer, I don't think it will matter if we're all Catholic or not as long as we are praying for the same thing -- that Rommel and Khristine be blessed with a baby. Let's bombard the heavens until He hears our plea, as Mae put it.
Thank you!!!
Is it for me?
Going back to the workforce, that is. In a previous post, I said that there is only one company that I would like to work for. Now checking their website, they have various openings that I am qualified to apply to. CRT said that the process takes time anyway, so why not grab an opportunity and see where it leads? I am somewhat hesitant because I am not sure if it will work for me. I've left the corporate world about five years ago. Will the lifestyle still fit me? Hubby is encouraging me as well. He says I need to change something in my life so I won't dwell too much on what I can and cannot do. Sounds good to me. Right now, I am looking at revising my resume and these resume templates found online are a big help. Will just have to wait and see, indeed.
First pair for the year...
Malayo daw! Before our meeting with a business partner at Shangri-La Mall, Bro decided he'd get me a pair as a treat, his first big shipment was a success! Pahiyang lang daw! He also got hubby a pair. Super thankful!!!
Is summer over?!?!
Did you notice how hard it rains when afternoon comes? Or in the evenings when the air is chilly (but still humid, does that make sense at all?!? LOL!). I can't believe summer passed me by. I've been complaining about the heat and never had a chance to see sand and water!! All we did was took a (very!) short dip in the compound pool...once! I would have loved to go to Bora or Palawan again. We were on the look-out for cheap flights, and there are many offers. I guess time is not on our side, with hubby having an erratic schedule. Plus we can't afford to splurge at the moment. A trip to even just Zambales would have been nice too. But I guess I'll just have to wait for next summer. Sigh.
Yen's QOTW
1. When was the last time you kissed someone? Who was it? -- Just a while ago, Hubby! I kiss him everytime I have the chance ;)
2. Last time you went to the movies? What movie? -- Friday last week with Hubby at Powerplant, IronMan.
2. Do you turn off your cellphone/s when you’re in a movie house? -- Nope but I put 'em in silent mode.
3. Do you curse? -- Just the 'light' cuss words but when I'm really really mad, that old PI.
4. Do you often have nightmares? -- Usually when I'm stressed.
5. Who’s your crush? :) -- LOL! Robert Downey Jr!!!! (at the moment)
6. Do you drive? When’s your license expires? -- Yes, my license will expire on my birthday year 2011 (just had it renewed this year).
7. Are you afraid of dying? Why and Why not? -- Nope because that's where we are all going anyway, and I am ready.
8. Do you like to party? Why or Why not? -- I'm not a big party fan, I can't stand the noise. My idea of a party is just dinner with close friends, chitchatting over food and coffee :)
9. Last time you said “I love you’? To whom? -- Last night before going to bed, Hubby :)
10. Last time you exercised? Gym or house? -- This morning, at the gym :)
The rest are here :)
High
Tuesday, May 06, 2008
This is a post about the husband just to let him know how much he matters to me. No, it's not because he didn't give me the tongue-lashing for overspending LOL! It's one of those "just because" days.
For the past days, I've been "confronted" (for lack of better term) with questions why I chose him. But those moments made me realize even more that I made the right decision to marry him. I've always believed he was destined to be my partner for life. I find myself falling in love more each day. It's a natural high. Love is the only addiction one can indulge freely and when one doesn't need to go to drug rehab. Ayt?
Tonight, I told him I suddenly felt sad (not exactly knowing why) but he didn't get mad. It frustrates him sometimes when I unexpectedly fall into my pit. He just listened to my sentiments and didn't argue anymore. I'm the luckiest wifey to have a very understanding hubby!
Long day!!!
I had a long day today. I mean, I am having a long day today. It's 1130pm and am not yet done!! We started the day at 430am because we had to pick up the brother from the airport. Yeah, he's home now.
Hay. I am sleepy but I still got things to do...
Busy Bee
Busy than my usual laid-back schedule (read: less sleep LOL!). And I am just dropping by for a few minutes because I am going to see my friend Jo from the US (pick her up at three, go to Greenhills, have really late lunch -- early dinner says Ehra LOL -- and then bring her back home in QC). See she's been here for about three weeks and I'm so happy that she was able to squeeze me in before she leaves again tomorrow.
Thursday, it was nice to see second cousins again. It's been a while. The meeting was short but sweet. We had a nice dinner at Gloria Maris and since they made a short trip to Divi, they didn't have the energy to stroll around the shops anymore. My mom got them a villa at Fontana tomorrow, too bad we can't join them (previous commitments).
And did you guys notice how hard the rain was on Thursday night? Hubby and I dropped the cousins home in QC and I had to turn on the hazard lights because I couldn't see the stretch of Katipunan!
Yesterday, I went to my Uni to have li'l brother enrolled, since he hasn't returned from his trip. Man, I had mixed emotions about going back. One, I had to commute. Two, there has been lotsa changes in the campus. But I loved that I was able to enter the Conservatory and the old Aristocrat canteen (which has a new name) again! Memories! Memories!
Then later I met with Hubby at Powerplant to watch IronMan. Will do a short review on that later in my other blog :) I got successful in conniving Hubs to go to Rockwell (I had another reason in mind heheh). I was successful in making him walk to the The Tent (Havs fans must know what I'm trying to get at!!!). But when we got there, the line was too long and then there's a sign at the door that says "2 to 3 hours waiting time WHEN INSIDE". So yeah, reminiscent of the lines at the Nemo Submarine Attraction at Disney, I just gave up in getting myself a pair of customized Havaianas. I haven't given up hope though, because they extended it until Monday and I still have a husband to convince that yes, I'd be a happy wifey if only I can get a pair LOL!
Last night, Hubby went to bed ahead of me (slept at 330am!). Reason? I was busy downloading and unzipping my (inter)NSD Loot! I've gone shopping crazy (but not as much as my Bebot friends, heehhe, I had to control myself from splurging), online, for Digiscrap kits. I twit last night because really, these ladies are the great enablers! I'm just glad that our internet connection is fast and that Ivy's ram is perfect for days like this. I still saved a few dollars for some more shopping later tonight, if there's still anything I like. I will share my loot once I'm done. And I'm hoping I'd get to scrap more!
That's it for now, my "few minutes" is up (woah, that's about 40minutes!!!). See yeah all soon! Happy (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day!!!
Blabbing.
It's a holiday and Hubby is at work. I'm home and trying to rest (oh how I wish I have hubs to cuddle on one of the platform beds found on the net). The weather is kinda hot though so I guess he's in a better place with the airconditioning and all, LOL! Plus I haven't eaten anything yet for today. We woke up just before 5am (and I slept around 230am!!!) and when I arrived here at the apartment I could not go back to sleep. Too much in my mind, I'd say. When I actually was able to sleep came my mom calling to fix our schedule. We'll have dinner later coz some relatives are in town and they would love to stroll around Greenhills too. Big sigh of relief for me coz the original plan was to have dinner at ATC which is too far and I'm the one driving.
I'm hungry. I'll go grab something to eat...
I am tweaking!
Excuse the mess :)
BRB!
Edit 1240pm:
After more than three hours, was finally able to do what I had in mind. I'm not a big xtml fan so that's probably why it took me that long to understand, LOL! Basically, I wanted to uninstall Haloscan for the comments. Just because. Guess I grew tired of it (plus I don't wanna pay for extra for keeping the comments when Blogger does it for free...see HS only keeps comments for 4 months unless one upgrades). But know what?!!? There is no uninstall function for HS!!! Bummer!! Got a very helpful tip from here and I'm satisfied (see I even found a template that I love more than the last one--clean looking :)). Yeah, I lost some comments but that's a consequence for messing up my template in the first place. Hehe.
It's the first of the month and haven't made a new banner. Ugh. Totally forgot. But I am still loving it. Maybe I'll just change it next month? We'll see.
Happy Labor Day peeps!!!!!
