One of the things that my mom and I learned the hard way is that investing gold in jewelry form (and I mean minus the big quality diamonds) is not exactly a good investment. With this realization came the fct that it is better to buy gold that is in ingot form. Ingots are gold (could also be silver) in pure bullion formed into convenient sizes and shapes.
