How would you know if you have a hemorrhoids problem? What exactly is it? The link I posted discusses two kinds: internal and external. Generally, it is a condition where the veins are swollen in the rectal area (see, I said this is kinda embarrassing hehehe). The internal kind is the one that is not physically seen or touched. Symptoms are manifested during bowel movement. I'm not gonna dwell too much on that. External Hemorrhoids, on the other hand, can cause severe pains. And when irritated, may cause the area to itch and bleed (eeeww). Hemorrhoids may be caused by constipation, diarrhea, lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, obesity and pregnancy among others. The best thing about most health problems is that they can be prevented. To prevent hemorrhoids, the site recommends eating high fiber food (increase intake of fibrous fruits and vegetables), drinking the required daily liquid intake (or more!), considering taking fiber and dietary supplements, exercising, and not putting too much pressure while passing bowel.
